Devil Walks in The Clover Field

I put this in case I would forget. Because it might brighter someone else’s heart or just to bring a new cognitive experiences, or whatever it is, I would so glad that every words of this are useful—infact, I don’t know how to bluntly show it.

It was a new words until my boyfriend told me : Saffron.

Which I was straightly find the translation in Indonesia, and knew that this word refers to “Kunyit”. Of course, we talked about how to make a potato porridge. But somehow I knew it refers to the other thing beside the cooking ingredient.. And I completely forgot what was it. I keep my thought to remember what it was, and then somehow I recall that it’s related to the ‘soul’. And then I remember who’s the one told me the different meaning of it. Grace Bertham, one of my so few friends in fanfiction writing.  

Saffron Soul.

She said that it was related with the old ancient myth about the soul bond. And she told me more that ‘soulmate’ we recently know right now was terminated several important point which might be appeared because the invasion of religion in the beginning of decades. Saffron Soul is abstractly described as a bright  thread which connected between wrist of 2 people in their entire life. And of course this invisible thread has the similar concept with ‘red thread’ like we know nowadays. In Javanese, we called it “Jodoh” and does anyone know the terminology description about this word? Please raise your hand and ‘do’ me. #halah

In those bright orange thread, every feeling flows like a water, so natural. People whose been bond together can be seen their deepest thought and darkest feeling without needing to say it loudly by the words. Awesome. She said that you can even dodge off a bullet  just because your bond-mate see the bullet first. And in the more substance level, the bond-mates could be brought in the same dream with the same time, and share it the same way like reality. (Now, I would gladly want to know my boyfriend’s wet dream, nah, joke). And as the contrary part, the bond-mates could feel the same hurt, and same sadness, same worries about the other (this is contraband stigma, or they really in the same meaning?) And the most awesome part is… you can see the evidence of this belief. 2 corpses in a sarcophagus is often be found and brought by the internet, but sometimes we don’t know what the meaning of this. Some romantic jokes told that they were a lover, by life and death. And the religion side told the awkward jokes that life and death is God’s business (OF COURSE IT IS). Well, if you find one of these picture, you might need to checked the wrist of both corpses. Sometimes, it showed the destroyed bone, or the thin bone, or even the whole full good bone. Some people believe it’s about the Saffron Soul. Even more, some of countries have myth that Saffron Soul should be life and death in the same time. When the husband death, the wife should be death too, get murdered or decided to suicide. Well, it’s about belief, I don’t think this could be affect us right now.

The truth is, I don’t write this thing because I believe it. I know that belief and religion can be like shit or just redeem ourself to be a beast. And Bertham said that the coming forth of several religion in decades has been ruined this tradition to the core. And that’s how I could manage my boyfriend’s opinion about religion and belief : We have the same God, we just like to differ ourself in certain group and certain way of praying ( I guess I get the point right now, dear )

Great condolences to my office partner which has been lost her parents in the rush. The father died in Sunday by cancer, and her mother followed in Monday because of the unknown causes. May both of them have the restful peace.
